Ironically I emailed Nadya the other week to see how it was all going, and the future is very bright! That girl is a go getter! Love it!

Hi everyone!

Thanks for your interest I've been a little bit busy!

Back in August I sent some samples of my brownies to Fortnum and Mason and we're currently in the process of setting me up as a supplier! It's really REALLY exciting, I've met with the grocery buyer and have their food technologist visiting me next month to go through the final details and check my working and packing areas.

The orders are flowing steadily on line as well, so the little tweeks every now and then seem to be doing the trick, there's still a bit to do and areas of improvement but it's coming together, I still can't find my site when simply typing 'chocolate brownies' but I'm sure in time it'll be there

I'm supplying a local coffee shop and the owner is really pleased with how the sales are going she's ordering regularly now and it's going to go crazy over the summer, I'm looking forward to being busy but really nervous at the same time, might have to pass the brownie baton to my husband EEEK!

Kip - did you receive my reply? still not heard from Harrods.. haha maybe it was a long shot!!

So in short I'm keeping busy and trying to improve all the time

No such thing as a long shot, you shot for F&M and got them in the bag, thought I replied to you, must have been a busy day!!

There are a few people about, You, NJS, Mark Pitt's etc, that are taking it by storm, and it is paying off, you keep doing what you are doing, and shun the "Mood Hoovers", let them point and say "I knew her when she started", While the rest of us go getters say "I still know her!", and I can still hear the excitement in your voice when you rang about Fortnum & Mason!

He who dares Rodders, he who dares!

me next! me next!

does this forum really breed better sites than the others then?

on a serious note, why is it that I hardly ever see successfull sites asking for reviews and help on forums? most often there are some very badly put together sites that ask for reviews etc. (im not putting anyone down - but you get what I mean?)

Because they are making plenty of spondulies and can afford to have their own in house coders, designers and UX testers

Most business forums appeal to small and start up businesses, with collective knowledge substituting inhouse resource.

That said, our UK directory is currently in the middle of a major upgrade and fingers crossed and a prevailing wind, aiming to launch in mid March.

Haven't decided yet if I'll be brave enough to ask for a website review...

I'll bear that in mind, my brownies are definately not suitable for diets! Sorry Kip, the brownie well has run dry for you!

Nickora - Thank you, I hope I hear from them too! I'll keep plugging away. The business has only been going for a year so there's still loads to do and different avenues to explore. It's exciting stuff!
