After 5 minutes also published same article in blogspot...

Did you do this as an experiment?

I'm curious because after all the publicity of the Google Panda updates, I don't know now why anyone would deliberately publish duplicate content? You are going to potentially penalise yourself.

As for which is deemed the original, I'd refer you back to your own post about duplicate content. Personally I'd say it's domain authority, and as blogspot is owned by Google, it's always going to do well.

Like I will second SJR4X4 .... Did you know about the duplicate data penalty, if you did then I am shocked and don't want to say anything. But if it was by accident then do check the Google Panda policies, it could ruin your blogs in search engines!

Well i am still puzzled in duplicate content and syndication terminologies. I have read many times in different forums, articles and other reading material about both of them and consistently found these both quotations every where. 50 % 0f the experts say that posting same article on different article directories is called syndication while the remaining say that it is called duplication of the contents. So if anyone has any authenticated source please share it to me from where i would get rid of this confusing situation.

Best expert to listen to is Google.

Must confess I'm not one for articles, so not savvy on syndication, but this is from the horses mouth:
There are some steps you can take to proactively address duplicate content issues...

Syndicate carefully: If you syndicate your content on other sites, Google will always show the version we think is most appropriate for users in each given search, which may or may not be the version you'd prefer. However, it is helpful to ensure that each site on which your content is syndicated includes a link back to your original article. You can also ask those who use your syndicated material to use the noindex meta tag to prevent search engines from indexing their version of the content.

So the way I read that, Google isn't a big fan of syndicated content. If you have multiple articles, choose a primary one, and make sure the others link back to it, or ensure syndicated content is using a noindex tag.

According to Google's Algorithm update duplicate content is not allow. The content which is caught by Google first or which is updated first is taken by Google as original and other can be penalized.

...which is updated first is taken by Google as original and other can be penalized.

So your saying whoever updates or edits a page first gets some kind of flag and Google takes this as the original?

Can you show me the official policy to back that up?

Your Wordpress article is not indexed in Google and Blogspot article is indexed.
Google consider Blogspot article unique because it index first and wordpress article will be index as duplicate.
