Hi, Does anyone have a list of high quality business directories for London (and or the UK). I consider anything like FreeIndex as a high quality directory. I realise on some of them you will need to pay a small fee. The FreeIndex charge I consider reasonable. Whereas the Qype charge I consider a rip off. So any recommendations are welcome. Thank you. Recommendation wise, TJ's UKSmallBusinessDirectory is worth a list, he has a good domain authority, and is a decent traffic generator. Freeindex is a given. Heard good things about allinlondon.co.uk and I think it's free. Usual suspects such as Thomson and Yell are down to personal opinion. I think they have value, even if only as a free listing. Goes down really to what your definition is of high quality, and what you are looking for? Domain Authority to try and add value to any inbound weblinks, traffic and genuine enquires, or both.
Other than the already suggested usual suspects, londinium.com is free and it does bring traffic to my site - so I see value in that one. himynameisjohn |
