Even if you don't develop an application, I think it's a good idea to see how your site looks on an iPad or other tablet. I know we had a few minor layout issues, so if you don't have an iPad, have a look on a friends!
Not so sure about the 1% claim, but if its only a 5 minute tweak, then prob worth fixing. If you have a flash site, don't worry about it

Haven't developed apps yet but perhaps would like in to it for the future if i though there would be interest in using it. I do like to ensure the site looks good and is fully functional on ipads/tablets, though
