Oh crikey. There were a lot of reports of the test version of Windows 10 running dog slow, but assumed they would be fixed for the production version.

This may be of interest: How to fix slow boot-up issues after free upgrade

It seems to be faster today, so perhaps it was just the initial reaction to the upgrade... Hopefully!

Can I swear about it yet? It doesn't like sleep mode....doesn't work properly. I have changed to Hibernate and that is much better. It caused me a few problems in the meantime though! Grrrrrrrr.

Ding ding same with me ,keeps waking up at around 3am , I have disabled all wake programs and the darn thing still wakes up. Have to keep shutting down ,which isn't a problem anymore as it is so fast to start ,but it means having to reopen everything each time

My biggest annoyance so far with Windows 10, is the bloody icon in my Windows 7 task bar that wants me to upgrade to Windows 10

It looks like I will have to spend the rest of my life with that annoying windows 10 icon stuck in my task bar. Only option that's missing if I right click it, is go away!

It's still not working properly with sleep,I use hibernate instead now but if I shut my laptop lid it goes into sleep mode and won't come back out. I've renamed it coma mode! Aghh!

Really not selling this upgrade idea to me lol

lol , it's only 1 issue that dodgy but it's a very annoying issue if you like to sleep your PC ...

Although I have to say the start up of 10 is damn quick these days

This operating system is by far the worst OS I have used. I liked windows 8.1.... Everyone will have to have window 10 at one point because without a doubt they will send daily popups telling you to upgrade....

I think they need to take Windows 10 back to the drawing board.

There's a way to switch it off, and it works

Well only if I joined up to this forum a month before I did then because I don't have the choice to revert back to windows 8.1 now as it is past the 30day mark I had to do it. Oh well sure I will get use to it.
