Hmm, not sure it would give me the illusion of having a credit already, but as long as it functioned as I wanted it then if it's cheaper then why not?

Obviously, you may need to consider any support costs that may be requried etc. But if 25% off the price was cheaper than all the others then yes I would buy, unless there was a similar product that did the same and I'd had great service from them in past or some other reason to pay a bit more....

Pretty much agree. As long as it had the required features and functioned as well as other software in its particular category.

Voucher codes will be of great help especially if you are running an online store. You would not only be able to personally try the products you sell, you also get to save.

See, I am always in two minds. Generally, when I look at companies offering coupons, it means I need to first buy something I don't need, before I can use the coupon. Some give them for the right reasons, but some use them to get more things sold, so its a toss up for me.
