This has to be a future Simon Mayo confession
That's It...
“Yes, pleased as punch the turkey was eaten though it was difficult trying to keep a straight face during dinner, which was made even more difficult by the other half constantly asking if I'd like to try a small bit.... "Erm no thanks I'm full"”

“Yep, I reckon so

It's been a year now since my cat passed away ,like yours Barney she was not the friendliest to other people but she was always under my feet or on the bed or where ever I went she followed , still miss her terribly though ,my facebook page still has her on it

![]() Awww sorry to hear that Andy, I miss my cat Bubble terribly. She was a crazed killer but so adorable. Sorry to hear about Scruffs too Barney, losing pets is horrible. Thanks, Rebecca CV and blog writer Pay for Precision | Saving you time by writing you kick-ass blogs and CVs.
Reminds me of incident many years ago when I came home from school with chocolate mousse I had made in cookery lesson. Put basket on kitchen floor and went into lounge to talk to my mother. After a few minutes she said "where's the dog?". Dog was in kitchen tucking into said mousse. She got a spoon and removed remains of where dog had eaten and served the rest for pudding. We're all still here except my stepfather who died many years later and the dog who suffered no ill effects! JuliaP
Not quite the same but i have decided to re-home my cat, really don't want to but the other half has a dog and one has to go Clive
Well I've currently got another one that its not looking too good for, she was never my cat, just strolled in last August when I was off sick. She was in an awful state, just came in let out a cry and collapsed, took her to the vet the following morning who asked if I wanted her put down, said to him I'd give her a chance...So we eventually got her weight back up from 1.6kg to 2.4kg this was after discovering she had an overactive thyroid which we had removed. Within a week of this operation she started to have epileptic fits which we got under control. This weekend she started to drink excessively knowing full well this was an issue with the kidneys was back up to the vets yesterday for blood tests which confirmed it. She's on medication for a week but it isn't looking good. I have already decided not to put her through anymore treatment. Absolutely hate having to make decisions like this and even having made these decisions in the past it doesn't become any easier.... crap days ahead Thanks, Barney |
