And adopting the Australian system of compulsory voting would improve the democratic process, although some may then claim this to be against their civil rights. 

I see that George Osborne has changed his tune yet again, with media reports saying that the UK can become a great nation again.  Make up your mind George!!

Well today the political wheel turns again and Leadsom throws the towel in, meaning Theresa May is now the next PM.

And now Boris is back in the cabinet and George is out...... It is difficult trying to keep up with politics on a day to day basis at the moment as it is is constantly changing......  Still waiting for all those scaremongering stories from 2 weeks ago to kick in.... might be a long wait....

Only hope the deficit planning and pain we have all been through now doesn't go back down the toilet and we start leaning on the UK PLC credit card again.

Was a very entertaining PMQ's yesterday, May has some big shoes and expectations to fill and fulfill. Genuinely think I'll miss Cameron, even though I never really rated him before.

Meanwhile in the Labour camp, we now have Owen Smith running for leader. Looking at the alternatives, I reckon Mr Corbyn is here to stay  

I didn't know many of the politicians names before, and now know even fewer. What I do know is when things get a bit sticky, everyone resigns. Maybe MasterChef could manage the leadership contests, or even have a bake off? If the new leader can make a mean lemon drizzle cake, then I'm interested
