Maybe i should briefly explain to those that didnt read my post from several years ago ...

I complained about a Tescos product, nothing threatening or violent, but super critical and refused to be fobbed off by the 18 year old assistant manager.

After 20 minutes of getting nowhere 2 burly security guards "suggested" i leave the store.

I only now visit Tescos Redditch when i literally have to, (and thats not often) i even drive 12 miles to another store just not to patronise that store!!!

Nope not a fan of Tescos

Wonder if Tesco bosses are just willing 2014 to end?

Tesco had £2billion wiped from its market value in minutes today after it was plunged into a new deeper crisis because profits have slumped again.

Its share price fell off a cliff after the troubled supermarket announced its annual profits may be £550million lower than expected.

With sales falling at their steepest level in four decades and its fourth profit warning in the past year, 2014 could not get much worse for Britain's biggest supermarket.

At least the share price recovered a bit from October. Be a great one to do some day trading on if you fancy some fun

Well one investment bank thinks there are more falls to the Tesco share price with a suggestion of a drop to 95p per share. And is at risk of achieving junk status.... I personally wouldn't touch it until the SFO have finished their investigations and a few of the old CEO's and directors have had their day in court which I think is inevitable now as more and more of their dodgy dealings are coming to light

Thanks,

hmmm, could be one to keep an eye on though, falling to 95p would send off enough alarm bells to clean sweep the cupboard of any skeletons and put a rescue plan into action. May take a couple of years, but bet it would  bounce back.

Interesting to see 12 months on what happened to the Tesco share price.

So looks like it recovered initially in 2015, then tanked again to end lower than last year. No sign of the 95p just yet, but never say never!

Interesting to see the 5 year decline. Must be painful to be a long term investor. Reminds me of the many banking charts we saw a few years ago

The problem is and it applies to all of the mainstream supermarkets, their customers have left them and they've all headed towards Aldi and Lidl, places where I thought I would never tread but now which I am quite happy to. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but there is a vast difference is pricing on certain products. I think when the likes of Tesco and co announce their trading results next year a further drop in profits will be announced plummeting the share price further....

Thanks,
