Like most blogs / web sites, mine has a moderator facility - I can approve, edit or trash a comment. Obviously, the only comments that go up on the site are those I've approved.
Can anyone tell me please - when a pingback notification appears on the content management page, asking me to approve, edit or trash it, is the pingback "live" once I approve it (or "live" before I've approved it)?
I'm unsure whether the pingback notification is simply there to notify me it now exists; or whether I need to approve it to permit the pingback to "work".
