Super Man with a Van Hemel Hempstead

We used this company to move from our 2 bedroom flat to a house no more than 10 minutes away. We were charged £75 a hour, we had packed everything and was just one wardrobe, one single bed and one double bed to be dismantled and reassembled. It took this company 12 hours to move us. There was only two van loads of stuff. The first load, our packed boxes took five hours to get to us! The second load took the same amount of time and nothing was dismantled properly which meant they couldn’t get them in without damaging them. We spoke to Denzel (the boss) on the phone many times throughout the day as we were so concerned about the time it was taking but he didn’t want to know. When we asked for different rate he was threatening to keep our belongings. They did not reassemble anything as by this time it was nearly 9pm (they started at 9am) so we had no choice but to already have assembled the beds so that my elderly mother and 3 year old daughter could go to bed! We queried the price again as the assembly was included in that and again was threatened that he would instruct the removal men to take our belongings away. We paid the amount requested as we were deflated by this point and have since sent several emails, all emails have been ignored. The average time to move a 2 bed flat is 4 hours, the time it took this company, the standard and the communication is absolutely shocking!
