I believe it's better to give away an ebook that's entirely free, and then charge for some services as a follow up, as opposed to a model, where you can only have one part for free, only to realise that you need to buy access for the remainder of the book half way through...

Paypal will also be recognisable for all your customers, so they will be happy to pay using this service. However, there are some downsides: Paypal currency conversion is usually quite costly, and their fees will take some percentage of your gains, so you need to work that in your calculations. From the legal point of view, you should also make sure that your T&Cs clearly state how the payment is going to be made and how the cancellation procedure will work. Sure! Can I ask you how many likes have you got? What's your activity out there? Sometimes, if you created the page long ago Google may have disregarded it as irrelevant because of lack of meaningful content. Have you looked at that issue?
I think if the name on the FB page is good and you'll have a fair amount of likes, this should be picked up by Google in no time.
