It can't be any worse can it? Mind you Trump, the worsening NHS, homelessness rises and the Brexit mess....maybe 2016 was just the warm up. Not to mention the numerous celebrity deaths. Apparently David Bowie set up an alternative universe and he's stealing all the great people to join him. I have heard crazier things. 

But...Happy New Year anyway! 

Try having two young children , one of whom seems to abjectly against sleep at night. I am sure some of you can relate to this. I have one who sleeps and one who doesn't and I haven't had  a full night's sleep in over 3 years. It is deeply unpleasant!

I heard people are sending their poppies to FIFA....

 Revolting things!!!! My husband loves them but really they make me want to vomit. All my worst things in one pie. 

Why I don't totally disagree with this there's something about it that makes me uncomfortable. It feels somehow that the NHS is becoming less and less accessible to some groups.  Plus it is surely a lot more work and administration...that the staff can ill afford. 

I used to get on very well with my old postman and he got a card and his favourite chocolates last year. I've never given money but I am sure some folk give money still. I imagine anything is welcome. The binmen get a tin of chocs between them usually and we don't have a milkman! 

Take 'em to the cleaners!!! You've been massively affected and it's been just awful for you. Through no fault of your own at all! I am not into the trend for suing everyone for every little thing but really I think there are some cases that truly deserve compensation and yours is definitely one.

I think a few women could sport a decent tache if it isn't kept in check...just saying. 

Hmmm it is great news, however goodness knows what they've been promised. Why do I get the impression that the government are going to have to bribe big businesses to stay in the country and where the hell is the money for that coming from when the NHS is on its knees and education and local services are being stripped bare! Maybe I am just a cynic...
