My yoga teacher today said she felt like not leaving the house and I knew someone who used to book the day off every time so she didn't have to go out!! What a load of hogwash. “Grey and Green, so does that mean something subliminally?
I like peas and over cast weather? That seems to be the more popular vote, less see pink and white. It's all very strange, it's caused quite a lot of arguments with people! It's as bad as Brexit. What colour is this shoe? 12th October 2017 1:19 PM Well it's good to be in tone with what's popular. Haha. You're no fun Andy. What colour is this shoe? 12th October 2017 11:29 AM
There was a dress photo that did the rounds a while back like this, where people see different colours....it's really fascinating. This shoe is 100% pink and white to me.
What happens when you die? 12th October 2017 8:44 AM
So have you thought about what you want? I think it is so much easier for those left behind if you have planned it a little and told people. I do think some people find death very difficult to talk about, understandably. I think my family are pretty straight talking with these things. I will be honest, my real flair for dramatics means I would actually like a viking funeral but I think that is probably pretty expensive Sorry about the morbid subject, but it's one thing we all have in common after all.
Why doesn't America just ban guns? 11th October 2017 11:53 AM
“Having grown up with guns and have carried 1 for safety I can see both sides of the argument. In my book there is nothing wrong with it and is only a last resort as it got drummed into me from around 10 years old on how to correctly use a firearm. BUT when it came to owning my own I had to licence it go and see the chief of police before I could take it away with me. Now after seeing how a lot of people react these days I am sort of glad firearms are not dished out here or in my country for that matter and yes America needs to change it's ways or else this sort of thing WILL happen again ”
It's interesting to get your perspective as you've grown up in a different country. I find guns just terrifying as they are so powerful and deadly, but then I don't agree with their use to kill anything, I agree with Steve that the NRA have so much power their influence feels unstoppable. Brexit reasoning 10th October 2017 3:55 PM This made me chuckle. Architectural Design Services, Suffolk 6th October 2017 11:07 AM Hi Zoe, Welcome to the forum. When I think of your field I think of Grand Designs but I'm sure the average extension is a little less exciting. What's the most interesting thing you've designed? |

I was recently at a funeral as sadly my mother in law passed away. It got me thinking about what I want, plus I turn 40 this month so it must be a midlife crisis too! It was a humanist funeral as they are not religious, and neither am I so I think that might be the way to go. For a funeral it was a good experience. She was buried in a woodland burial site and a tree will be planted in a few months, on the grave. I love this idea, as you can visit the tree and it will live on for years and be a habitat for birds and insects and animals etc.
