So the new show on Amazon that wont be Top gear is set to air next year, and is already scheduled for 3 seasons. Looks like Clarkson and crew are going to be getting a decent budget and a lot more freedom than they were used to 
Not sure if that's a good idea or a bad one 
But Amazon boss Mr Bezos seems taken with them and Amazon do seem to do well with their prime TV series.
I shall be watching, mainly out of curiosity and see if all the hype was worth it, or if a tired format has been flogged to death from an ageing front man. Be also interesting to see what Chris Evans does with the official Top Gear and if he will keep the show as a key Beeb money spinner.
