This story made me smile. I think I would be getting continually fined!

Could work emails be banned after 6pm? - BBC

"France has brought in rules to protect employees from work email disturbing them outside office hours. Would a law to this effect be feasible elsewhere?"

I think this just means that most people will leave the office by 6 so no work for nothing after 6!

Thanks,

I think it is a good thing, years ago everything closed at 5pm and didn't open till 8am the following morning, half day closing on a Wednesday and shut on a Sunday. Now with modern technology and an open all hours policy it seems to be that we are forever working. The whole way society now operates isn't a very good compared to the way we use to live, it feels like we've all become zombies and without the computer / email we are now stuffed...

Thanks,
Barney
