Is this really targeting the right people? Alcoholics will still get their fix whatever the price, while the rest of us will suffer this heavy price increase on units of booze. thumbsdown

Great isn't it! A small section of society can't drink responsibly, so the rest of us suffer! Next they will put up the price of chips because if you eat too many, you might get fat! Nanny state.........
The higher the price of booze, the more tax revenue for you know who. Nothing to do with controlling drinkers, if they wanted to do that then the easiest way is by restricting licensing hours.... Thanks, Barney |
