Yup

A lot depends on personal pref. I prefer the Vb look and style, and the functionality as Kip says makes it a lot easier to customise than PHPBB, which in business, time means money!

As for the license cost for Vb, its pennies in the grand scheme of things

Steve being of virgin persuasion to these forums I cannot praise the style and funct..fucnt..funcsio...funcksiona...workability of them enough. I been a forum user for many years and so enjoy the way this one works.

IOSH have recently rebranded the website and forums. 4 months in and many users are still moaning. We lost a lot as well.Search me where they went though.

hmm, good feedback Mike.

As we grow, last thing I want to do is aleinate anyone by chopping and changing anything too much!

I am actually slowly warming to version 4, but I want to see more ver 4 boards out there first, then maybe take a poll and see what all you think 6 months down the line

What a sensible and democratic approach...just like the current government...and the next one...alive-alive O.

I am going through the pain now and compared to VB 3 it is a massive product.

There are a few bugs which I have raised support issues with and I am working through now.

Login problem with IE 8 and the recent posts widget on the front screen is cut off horizontally.

The dev board is available at JSAF Forums - Welcome To the Job Seekers Advice Forum.

please be aware it is a dev board and not a live product.
