Hey guys .Any of you know about product barcodes and google.

I only ask as according to my logic every product should have it's own barcode ,but 1 of my suppliers use barcodes per price band (ie any product costing £6 will be a certain barcode) etc

Now I find this weird ,but can anyone shed any light on this

I spent a week trying to get my head around barcodes when I was trying to set up a Amazon shop.  I then paid someone else to try and get their head around it all. Everything we did or tried kept getting rejected by Amazon even when the information was provided directly from the manufacturer it was rejected.... Anyway it worked out by the time Amazon added their fees and charges the product was over priced.... At which time I decided to get my life back and just pulled the plug... But there are websites out there which discuss everything and anything about barcodes... And quite boring they are too... The problem you have is the same as what I had which is where a barcode reflects a manufacturers price rather than the product itself...

Thanks,
Barney

Hey there ..Not selling on Amazon as like you say I don't fancy chasing my tail .. It's for google shopping and I think better exposure for my products as you can now find my products with just a barcode .. But just not sure about this 1 where all products at £5 have the same barcode and all products at £6 have a separate code...So in theory I will have around 100 products with the same code
