I had the pleasure of instructing Lee Preston, whom I sourced through Bristol Surveyors, to carry out a survey in a flat property I was in the process of buying in Bristol. Lee was very professional and provided a well-detailed report alongside some friendly advice on possible next steps during the purchasing process.
I'd highly recommend Lee's services and wouldn't hesitate to reach out again in a future purchase.

Lee's survey was very thorough and detailed, the debrief call afterwards was very helpful too. I had to go back to Lee a few weeks after too as I was renegotiating with the seller after the survey. Lee responded promptly to my query and ultimately his survey and feedback helped me successfully argue a reduction of the price to reflect a major repair Lee identified, which saved me a lot of money!

I first spoke with Martin, who was very helpful in laying out our options for a survey. Our inspector, Lee, was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He also offered to hop on a call after sending the report, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, our experience with South West Surveyors was very good, and we highly recommend them.

We were recommended south west surveyors by a friend and would highly recommend them ourselves. Martin and Lee were both quick to respond and highly informative. We chose to go with a level 3 survey as we are buying an old house and found this to be incredibly thorough. Lee met with us via video call not long after to discuss any queries and responded really quickly to a further email query we had. We really appreciated the timely completion of the survey and will be using south west surveyors in any future house purchases.

Though price is not the most competitive in the market, Lee (Surveryor) and Martin (Client Services) were always responsive, in a swift manner. The Full Report was very detail and when we had the virtual meeting with Lee he gave detailed explanation. Would definitely recommend!

Lee was assigned as our surveyor - The report he put together was very thorough, he even scheduled in a Zoom meeting with us after the report was finalised. He was happy to guide us through the whole report and expand on the areas that we had questions on.
We would highly recommend Lee to all of our friends and family - The level of service was extremely high compared to the cost.

Lee's report was very thorough and well balanced, highlighting positives about the property as well as a very detailed description of risks and issues.
When it came to our meeting, he was helpful, clear and good to talk to. He was knowledgeable about the area and after the meeting we were much better informed about what the property needed and were able to renegotiate the sale price on the back of that information.
Would absolutely recommend Lee to anyone looking for a building surveyor.

We were drawn to South West Surveyors specifically for the technical depth they offered, and we got exactly what we wanted. You get what you pay for, and in this case, extremely good value for money. Excellent service by Martin and Lee. Thorough Level 3 survey which was followed up by a phone call or video call to go through any questions.
I'd highly recommend South West Surveyors, they provide great peace and mind when purchasing a new property with a detailed report.

Martin at Domestic Surveys was very informative, friendly and managed to book us in with Lee for a full structural survey of our property we had an offer agreed upon.
The amount of detail and professionalism in Lee's report was brilliant. There were lots of pictures of around the house including the whole roof structure and chimney stack.
The report highlighted many areas and without it we could have made a huge financial mistake with the serious issues that would never have been found were it not for the survey.
Lee took the time to do a long video chat to go through everything in more detail and to explain to us the issues and what could have been done to rectify them.
We eventually decided not to proceed but have now booked Domestic Surveys already for our next offer.

Brilliant service. Super prompt and easy to deal with - they sort everything out so easily and provide speedy communication. The report produced was really thorough and exactly the level of detail we’d hoped for. Martin and Lee were fantastic - very open communication at all times, incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. They spent time talking me through the process and then through the survey report, going into detail about what it meant and answering all my questions honestly and with expertise. I can't recommend them enough.
The survey was slightly more expensive than others but definitely worth paying that little bit extra for such great service.

Brilliant! From Start to finish both Martin and Lee were excellent and professional. The survey was extremely thorough and laid out in a 72 page report. The added zoom chat with Lee was superb, he answered all questions professionally and in great detail, whilst keeping it easy for me to understand. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you both!

South West surveyors were fantastic. Martin gave me some initial information about the services they provide, which were very detailed and made me make my descion a lot quicker. Lee carried out our survey and was amazing. Within 24 hours of completing the survey we received a VERY detailed report and was able to put our minds at ease. Because the report was that detailed we had no further questions to follow up with Lee. I would highly recommend South West surveyors to anyone!!

Lee Preston has delivered on time a clear and detailed full building survey report. He has offered to meet afterwards so I can ask questions about the content, and provided guidance on actions to take. He also answered further questions via email.
Martin has also been great at organizing the survey, and answering my questions in a timely manner.

Very thorough survey and well worth the money. We would use again and definitely recommend to friends and family. Lee went into the loft and got some great shots of the roof which was a surprise. And he made some recommendations which we discussed in more detail over the phone. He knew his stuff!

My partner and I have used Domestic Surveys twice now! Both times we had Lee for our Building Surveys, and would highly recommend anyone looking to buy to use this firm and have Lee do your survey for you!
- Martin at the customer service team responds very quickly and always tries to help move the survey date forward if possible. Very friendly and communicative.
