PostsHave you ever used a referral scheme for your business? 23rd September 2015 2:12 PM One of my most recent clients suggested I might like to set up such a scheme so that clients could get a discount if they refer new customers to me. Does anyone do this? I'd love to hear some real life experience. I won't be wanting to use a referral link or anything, more of a direct referral where people will just tell me who they have referred and they'll get the discount as long as the person uses me as I'm only a small business at the moment. Worth it do you think? I partly think it would be nice to think people will recommend a good business without any incentive, but it does encourage recommendations I guess. As my client retention is very good, new business would easily make up for any discount awarded. What do you think oh lovely people of the forum? Any tips? Pitfalls? I think I'll definitely out the idea on hold for now, where it has been for 2 year anyway... I appreciate the other advice on Wordpress etc. too but as my time is pretty limited at the minute not having to build a website is definitely appealing! |
