Difficult 1 as he is working from home doing work for you..But when I was made redundant I was on the verge of signing up to 1 of these call centres where you work from home and I had to supply my own broadband, so it could go either way.Could you afford to do it as sometimes the expertise may well be worth the hassle to just give it to him as there may be times you really do need him and if you do he may need to help out of these times if you do instead of giving him over time  ..But would make a contract stating that and  after the year you stop paying ..Just my 2c worth   

Phew it was 1 of those days for me too .. A simple upgrade and reprogram turned into a utter nightmare ..Nothing wanted to play ball including all the client Pc's .. A 2 hour job turned into a 5 hour job ....THEN on-top of that the fricking bridge is closed so had to go via blackwall tunnel ..Oh what fun 

I know ... I just hate these "what colour is this" posts on facebook 

Although if you want to see what's trending - my home town took a real beating on the 10th type #durbanstorm on facebook it's unreal

It's sounds much like the EU ..Very stubborn.It's not like it is a big deal , like you say they are powerful and they are in the wrong hands.

lol . Got a chuckle out of it as well..But I don't object ,it may be a good idea . Just think of all the houses they could build lol

We have had this exact dilemma at my work ..Well Me to be exact ..I went on a New Zealand holiday and then went to SA for the rest. I accidentally book a day more than I should have, so had the choice of a a days wage being deducted or working the extra time .. I took the latter and worked a Saturday. ......Now there was a colleague at work who has now left ,but she too had taken all her holiday and as she left before the year she is suppose to pay back those extra days she took   

I had never (I think) heard of them before as I have never looked for a packaged holiday ,I always just look for flights as we always plan our own agenda. 

Having grown up with guns and have carried 1 for safety I can see both sides of the argument. In my book there is nothing wrong with it and is only a last resort as it got drummed into me from around 10 years old on how to correctly use a firearm. BUT when it came to owning my own I had to licence it go and see the chief of police before I could take it away with me.        Now after seeing how a lot of people react these days I am sort of glad firearms are not dished out here or in my country for that matter and yes America needs to change it's ways or else this sort of thing WILL happen again
