Tesco's new CEO takes charge of damage limitation

Well this is interesting, technically it's propaganda as the new CEO is being interviewed by a Tescos colleague, but it's being published publicly as new CEO Dave Lewis takes a firm hand to the Tescos Brand.

What do you think, heartfelt or just PR?

I'm never going to be a fan of Tesco's or any of its employees but as much as it pains me to say this, the chap speaks sense.

Its obviously very carefully scripted and it all looks nice and cosy but to their credit they have allowed to be pushed in certain areas and they have thrown their hands up and admitted they have made several mistakes.

It's the scapegoats I feel sorry for, they probably had to do as they were told and look where it's got them!

Let's hope it forces the prices down to try and increase custom!

Yep - price decrease would be helpful - lets remember that although they massively overestimate their profits they still made a huge profit out of those of you that shop there!
