IBM to acquire Softlayer Hosting

Typical I seemed destined to remain connected to IBM in some shape or form! Now our US hosters Softlayer are being bought out by IBM.

Over the years they started as EV1 Hosting, got bought out by Planet, then got acquired by Softlayer, and has now been swallowed by IBM. But other than a few control panel changes, service has remained pretty high. Lets hope my former IBM web hosting colleagues keep up the good work!
