Business Nightmares with Evan Davis, Doomed Designs

Fascinating stuff, looking at big business and some of their bizarre decisions.

Focused on Coca Cola and their amazing decision to scrap the original formula and launch a new taste in response to the 1970's Pepsi Challenge marketing campaign. Just shows a brand leader can really get it completely wrong!

Don't remember it personally, although now explains where the "classic cocca cola" tag line came from.

Great one from washing manufacturer Persil, who as market leader, decided to launch an even stronger washing powder that destroyed clothes

Well I guess that is what happens with a lot of people. Thy have talent and a lot of knowledge, but their start might be wrong, and then they give up, because they think the invention was wrong. I agree the invention can be wrong, but they would have tried it again, with something better.
I feel the way might be right, but the theme might be wrong.
