I'm off on my hols tomorrow, so won't be around on the forums for a while.

I'm off on a cruise with the missus and baby doing the Alaskan Inside passage, then picking up a camper from Vancouver and trundling over the rockies to calgary.

Not particuarly looking forward to a long haul flight with a 7 month baby, but should be worth it when we get there!

Coming back on the 29th May, so I shall leave the shop in the very capable hands of Clive, Mike and Martin.

I don't know if I will survive without internet access for 3 weeks, so may sneak into a cyber cafe somewhere

So see you all when I get back!!

Have fun.

This, ten thousand times. I get twitchy enough after 24 hours.

Just watch out for the grizzly bears!

Have a great holiday, Steve. I look forward to hearing all about it.

What is a Holiday? Is this some new fancy slang word I missed?

Holiday is when you spend a great deal of money to go to another country for several consecutive days/weeks which are spent constantly worrying about two conflicting nightmares:

1) That your office won't survive without you, and that you are going to return to a crumbled business empire where even your beloved coffee mug has been smashed beyond repair.

2) That your office will have survived without you, and that you are going to return to a booming business empire that, for some reason, you no longer seem to own nor fully understand.

I think we can currently add a third nightmare to worry about:

3) That we can't get back - all flights cancelled due to volcanic ash cloud!

How is not being able to go back to the UK a nightmare, I fail to see your point lol

I dunno, he calls himself patriotic!!

Anyone miss me? Thought not.

Great to see we still have a forum, cheers mods for a top job on minding the shop

Holiday was great, although taking an 8 month baby is most definately a challange, but a worthwhile one.

Volcano tried to stop us on the way out, an 8 hour flight ended up as 13 as we had to divert via Spain.

British Airways decided to cancel our flight home and go on strike. After transferring to Canadian Airways, someone somewhere forgot to book on our sprogg, which ended up with growling tempers, but all ended up ok.

Alaska was stunning, as was the Rockies, highly reccommended. Really lucky with the weather, after packing the thermals, spent whole time in tshirts and got sun burnt! But nice to be back, and have spent all day trawling through my inbox

Right time to say hello to a few new posters and catch up with whats been going on!!
