This beautifully curated cookbook features over 40 cherished recipes from Sanctuary Care residents across the UK. This isn't just a recipe collection, it's a part of how we bring to life our Enriching Lives Framework, which is based on research into what truly matters as we age.
At the heart of this book is one of our 'Six Senses'; the Sense of Continuity. We believe in empowering those in our care to sustain their passions, identities and routines - such as cooking!
From traditional pasties and spicy curries to comforting cakes and festive favourites, each dish tells a story, a memory passed down through generations.
Whether it's Iona's Clootie Dumplings, Delita's Jamaican Goat Curry, or Malcolm's Cornish Splits, every page is filled with love, legacy, and the joy of sharing.
