With charming shops, restaurants, pubs and historic buildings like Melrose Abbey within a short walk, our site offers tent camping and is ideal for families, couples, friends and dogs owners. Walking enthusiasts have 1,500 miles of footpaths to explore along the banks of the Tweed or by hiking up into the High Country to view the Scottish Borders’ picturesque, rural patchwork. There are cycle routes as well as fishing in the River Tweed and a golf course nearby. Events like Melrose Sevens Rugby Tournament and Melrose Festival are not to be missed.
