Jo's Fit4all Classes

What are they? Fun and friendly weight management classes where you can both weigh & exercise and if you can't make the classes in person Jo now offers an online service where you can get support to lose weight at home.

Who are they suitable for? Anyone wanting to lose or maintain their weight and/or want to do some exercise in a group environment with like minded people. I also have members attend just for exercise so whether you are fit or unfit the classes will be suitable for you - the exercise part of the class lasts for 45 minutes. The classes also really suit people who cannot work at a high level due to certain medical conditions such as arthritis, or if you're looking for something even lower impact and even more gentle on the joints then try our Paracise classes.

About my classes: They were established in May 2014 after the Rosemary Conley Diet & Fitness Classes franchise business finished, so I now run them under a new name but pretty much with the same concept and values as before which I have done since May 2009 so they still offer nutritional advice as well. I introduced Paracise into some Jo's Fit4all Classes in May 2018 and also run 3 standalone Paracise classes too.

What type of exercise? As well as Paracise my classes have a mix of Dance-style aerobics, disco and boxing style classes, HiiT (High Intensity Interval Training) and some toning. I am qualified to adapt exercise to make the exercise suitable for most people and I plan classes carefully to make sure that overweight and unfit people can take part but the bottom line is you do what you can and listen to your body and build on what you can do each week. It doesn't matter if you're young, old, male or female - you will be welcome along.

What makes my classes different from the others?

  • They offer both exercise AND nutritional advice.
  • YOU have the flexibility to just exercise OR weigh OR do both.
  • No charges for membership, rejoins, arrears or missed classes - I really am on your side!
  • They offer you heaps of verbal advice, encouragement & support to help you succeed.
  • They are friendly and fun and we have a social calendar with theatre trips, charity events, trips to TV shows, an annual health spa weekend & a Christmas party to name some of the things we do together (optionally!) as a group.
  • It's not a "one diet fits all" approach. Instead I prefer to tailor my nutritional advice to suit you as an individual.
  • We have a supportive facebook group where you can get motivation and support from other members as well as myself between classes.
  • I am totally flexible so if you already have a "diet" that works for you then you are welcome to follow your own plan, get exercise and optionally weighed with me each week - all for just the 1 fee so basically you have the freedom to follow any particular "diet" of your choice or one of the various ones that I ahve available.
  • I truly value and care about every single one of my members and together we achieve so much and have lots of fun along the way! The support we all offer each other in class feels like being part of a family and helps us to not just lose weight but to make lifestyle changes that allow us to keep that weight off for good.
  • I am not looking to offer you a quick fix with a faddy diet but to encourage you to lose weight sensibly. If you want your weight off as fast as possible then I will give you a love of exercise that will help you to achieve that whilst continuing to eat healthily.
  • The exercise we do is not boring! Group exercise is upifting and motivating and you'll be having so much fun you`ll forget you are working out!

Great exercise, you can put as much effort in as you want, which means you can start gently and build up a bit each week.

Jo's classes are always fun and she is very supportive of all her members. She also goes that extra mile by organising a range of social activities, such as trips to the theatre, throughout the year, which helps create friendships and a wider circle of support

Jo runs really fun classes that you can go at your own pace. lots of support to help you as much as you want
all ages attend, men and women.
I really enjoy it and have lost 4 stone since starting classes

Always a high energy class welcoming people of any shape and size, good motivational talk at the start followed by fun and energetic routines which are changed regularly to keep it fresh. Jo is always encouraging and because she is a real life example of dramatic weight loss she understands how hard it can be sometimes. Highly recommended.

A fun, friendly exercise class. Jo is an instructor that really cares about her members and will go the extra mile to help them. If you want to make new, real friends, lose weight and get fitter into the bargain, you simply couldn't do better! I can't recommend Jo's Fit4all highly enough. Come and try it, you won't be sorry.

Jo is very encouraging and will help you every step of the way.
She never makes you feel as if you have failed.
