Fancied Portugal beach holiday they advised Madeira NO BEACH on Madeira just rocks .Hotel was a nightmare gave us a king sized bed ha I was with my son .Not funny unpacked the third day when they found a suitable room.Nothing to do with no beach to sit on just the hotel pools which were very nice .The hotel Pestana was a nightmare staff not very pleasant as I complained about the room food was uneatable on two barbeque nights couldn't even bite into the meat.Only tour buses to get round the island local bus only to town centre so have to pay tours too sightsee or walk .Very hilly to walk anywhere Pleased we didn't book two weeks very disappointing overall and expensive
