For example, if you have a local cafe and simply want to litter the neighbourhood with spam about you opening it, your leaflets may very quickly go to the bin. However, if you show that you really are committed to what you do, and go to your neighbours, briefly chat to them and then invite them for a free coffee with this leaflet, so that you can learn something about them and you show that you really care about them and want to go the extra mile to deliver more than outstanding service for them - this may change your outcome quite a lot.
