eBid & Etsy 20th July 2015 10:51 AM

Ages ago I used eBid but not as successful as eBay because they don't have the same number of viewers/searchers.

.... Out of marketing we have done to date for this particular service, FB is currently working out to be the most cost effective, but I suspect that will change shortly as we start pushing brand rather than product.

Nearly 6 months in since your first post - any more thoughts/comments/suggestions other than what you've already stated?

I would do, but the commute to Mountain View, CA, USA is a bit too far from the UK!

The new Dragons... 17th July 2015 6:59 PM

I like it - but was a bit annoyed with the way they edited the hypnosis bit in the first episode.

It's a bit of fun really, must admit I liked Duncan and Theo as well as Richard Farleigh from a while ago, but it's still early days so will have to give the newbies a chance!

This is always interesting for info on how succesful pitches may or may not be progressing.  However, I also found this interesting, Half of Dragons Den investments fall through

...So did Amazon Prime day pass anyone else by, or were you fully aware of it and took advantage?”

It didn't quite pass me by as I read about it on the day but I'm not a "prime" customer anyway!  It's an interesting article and I wonder how long the shareholders / investors will accept constant diet of jam tomorrow, which somehow never arrives....

Hi Linda,

I've just PM'd you for the details as I've a friend who's interested.

Thanks.

Anybody for tennis... 11th July 2015 3:37 PM

I've not had much chance to watch the tennis this year but this made me smile, and I do wish they would show more of these type of matches as they seem far more relaxed and fun, but such is the modern game these days.

Would be interesting to know whether the umpire asked them to play the point again or randomly gave the point to one of them!

.......Against argument from the workers unions is quite clever, that the same customer spend is spread over a longer period, watering down profit, and increasing resource costs.

Both sound quite convincing

And make the UK economy look less productive?

So the drama rolls on..

Greek MPs are set to vote on new proposals for a bail out package, with the latest deadline being set for Sunday.......

......It looks like the crisis will be shortly reaching a natural painful conclusion.”

Until the next deadline.

I've never known so many "deadlines" - it wouldn't surprise me if the PM resigns and then there'll be another deadline to allow them to come up with another proposal.

What is needed is a deadline to end all deadlines!

It'd be a change from reading the metro on the tube!
