Well I was at the Adsense seminar in Oxford last week and a lot of emphasis was put on speed.

Google has launched instant pages this week further showing their speed preferences.

PR is just a measure of the links you have coming into your site.

Its quiet different from SERPS which is how you perform for different phrases.

A couple of single PR 6 links can give you page a PR of 3 or 4. But the impact on SERPS is nothing when compared to the impact that 100's or 1,000's of related links can give you. Especially if they have your keywords in their links (known as anchor text)

Well I tried it and it didn't seem to work.

I think Google is smart enough to see this sort of thing for what it is.

Best to stick to good links from good places. Certainly this Panda update has turned the lights on for the activities of the spammy linkers.

Never mind the content feel the links that is another approach!

I think good content is the first step but the smallest one - once that is in place then its links,links,links! Good ones of course not just numbers.

Well I met my wife whilst there so I had to go back a few times in order to persuade her to come to the UK!

I've been about 7 times to Russia and every single time I was robbed, last time it was in a church in St Petersburg.

Its not a safe place to be and foreigners get a lot of unwanted attention.

People are very healthy and its shocking to see so many young people around when you are used to the grey majority in the UK.

I agree with the above post - use monitoring software but tell your staff ahead of time that you are doing it.

Check it weekly / daily and speak to anyone who abuses the system it very quickly does the trick.

That way proper promotional use is fine but not time wasting.

Well I went to one in Wolverhampton before Xmas it was OK but I didn't feel that they had enough members to warrant a joining fee and making the effort to attend regularly.

I guess if you were an accountant or other more general business service provider it could be a winner. Fees seemed a bit steep also.

Do a search for DCMA - I put these out almost on a daily basis - as so many spammers rip of my content.

There are huge number of these doing the rounds at the moment particularly after the recent Google update that caused problems if duplicate versions of your work are found.

I bet you can sell for a profit though particularly closer to the time.

Apparently you can still buy tickets if you use another EU states tourist service as blocks have been allocated around Europe.
