Well, their first stop off point will be London so it will be interesting to see how long it takes them to spread their wings throughout the rest of the country. I saw somewhere that around 29 million could in theory arrive on our shores. If only 10% of that figure arrived we are going to have some serious problems to overcome in this country. I think many British people feel let down by our so called political leaders who seem to have embraced the idea that multiculturalism is the way forward. If only that were true, in London what you have is ghettos of different nationalities gradually springing up all over the place, this in turn forces those families who have lived there for generations to move out, to somewhere more English. I guess you could call it a race issue, but you cannot force a country to be multicultural, even those coming here don't necessarily want to be in a multicultural society, they want what they can get out of it, which is again usually either monetary gain, health care, housing or education anything that does not form art of their culture then barriers start going up and demands of special treatment are asked for, which in turn gets tensions rising.
London has always had a mixture of different people, people from different countries arrived gradually over long periods of time. Now with modern transport the way it is 1000s can descend in a matter of days. Those who are in Parliament are there to represent the electorate who voted for them, I think over the last 20 - 30 years they have let both the voters and democracy down. Anyone who believes that the forthcoming influx of migrants are coming here to embrace the British culture and way of life are clearly of their rockers

Well I only spent
I can't wait to welcome them all..... Do we need more migrants in the UK? No we don't. If you want to reduce the unemployment figures and remove this country's work shy dependency on benefits, then it seems ludicrous to bring more people into the country. All of these people will require housing, healthcare and their children education, putting aside the argument of whether or not these people have contributed to the system or not. This country can not offer it's own citizens proper housing (majority of social housing, now all sold off) The education system has plummeted, where you either have second rate teachers or classrooms with children in whose English is so poor they hold the rest of the class back as the teachers have to spend more time with individual pupils. If you want to see your GP because your ill you have to make an appointment and you currently have people on trolleys waiting in A & E departments as there are no beds available on wards. So my point is, if more people come to the UK then there will be more of a demand for these basic services........ And we can't cope now with what we have....
Merry Christmas to everyone....... To be honest with ya I'm done it with it already

I would assume it goes into the Governments coffers...
There is nothing to stop her from resigning as a director and she can do it via Companies House
She can also keep 50% of the shareholding or sell it. But if the business is worth nothing, she owns 50% of nothing so if she gifts it, she'll be giving nothing away.... Personally if the business is doing nothing and she is abroad, she might be better off just washing her hands of it all......
Is it Black Friday today?? 1st December 2013 3:17 PM
I look at it like this, Christmas day is my normal hourly rate so every day other than this particular day then customers are already getting a great deal, so I see no need for further reductions....

Yep bought mine, funny thing happened on Friday, had to stop at the pedestrian crossing outside Westminster cathedral to allow 20 or so RSM's cross the road, it kind of reminded me how much trouble I use to get into in my 20s and how one use to punish me at Waterbeach barracks by getting me to run in full battle gear around the airfield.... Oh how I miss those days ha ha
You can't help but have respect for those guy's

Have recently placed some adverts for plumbing jobs in London, so rather than state that the wages will be whatever, I thought I would leave it up to the candidates to say what they would be willing to work for, then if it was within our budget, then the chances are they'd have a job. Never did it to get cheap labour, it was done on the basis that if someone say's 'I'm willing to work for this amount' then their happy and they don't end up feeling hard done by and not earning a comfortable living wage.
So far I have received 10 applications, great, 10 CV's all of which I have read dozens of times over the years, starting of with 'I'm a very hard and conscientious worker' and ending with 'And in my spare time I enjoy football'
Not one mentioned how much they would be willing to work for, so I replied to everyone who had sent CV's saying thanks very much, but...... How much money do you wish to be paid per day? So far the response has been pretty poor with only one replying saying he wanted to earn
