Not that it makes a whole lot of difference to me generally! Being a mum of young children seems to give the groundhog day effect!”

Can always look forward to retirement, baby sitting and looking after the grand kids...  hmmm your right, groundhog day!

you won't be able to wear your favourite leggings, especially if flying with United.........”

Dohhh!! another freedom taken away

So it begins, the long complicated road of disentangling ourselves from the EU, sorting out trade deals, as well as recruiting and paying for another 10,000 civil servants to manage it all

Still not convinced we have done the right thing. The fears from the remain camp of an instant economic catastrophe were certainly unfounded, along with the leavers mythical huge savings and more cash for the NHS. Basically it was all cobblers on all sides.

I suspect we have trail blazed the way for EU reform which has now been forced into action as they lose a fifth of their revenue and other countries see there is life outside the EU. Downside is now we are on the outside, we will miss out on the advantages of any reforms.

Will the Union hold up in the years to come with the SNP beating the drum hard? Will we be able to negotiate the trade deals to ensure big business confidence remains high, preserving things like car manufacturing in the UK?

Looking back in 5 or 10 years and doing the sums, I wonder what the genuine and accountable financial benefits will be versus the propaganda.

Almost like 1940 again with the UK standing alone, albeit with parts of it determined to leave, a hostile Europe and the USA concentrating on looking inwards. Or is that too dramatic for a wet and miserable Wednesday?

Got a bit of a shock tonight , got home to find DMOZ has put my website details on at long last ... I only submitted it about 4 years ago lolol.... ”

Got some bad news Andy, after finally getting yourself on, they've pulled the plug out and switched it off!

The DMOZ is no more

Originally it was a really useful resource, but it seemed to morph into power mad and manipulating editors, or am I just being unfair as we could never seem to get back on

Customer support software 24th March 2017 5:54 PM

Had a similar thread a while ago: CRM (Customer Relationship Management) - Help!!

Had a play with Zoho CRM which was pretty good, but over kill for what we need. Failing that it would prob be fairly straightforward to get something coded to meet your exact requirements.

My heart sunk when I saw this on the news

Only a matter of time before we end up with this rolled out for all flights, domestic and international...

Flying really is becoming a thing of utter frustration and dread. The only thing I look forward to walking out of the arrivals hall when I've landed.

Interesting about the stability of batteries as one commentator noted, if a lappie battery catches fire in the cabin it's pretty obvious and can be dealt with quickly. But in the aircraft hold it will be buried or surrounded by combustible material and be reliant on automatic fire extinguishers. If it's got to the point where they have been activated, then it's become a serious issue.

Basically we will soon have to all start flying naked, get dressed in the arrivals and buy a new laptop

yes it is

I won't name him, but on LinkedIn someone in the security business has suggested that the bus drivers should have done more to stop the terrorist as he drove along the pavement on Westminster Bridge and his company is able to offer them a course on how to handle such situations.  ”

Some people really are shameless. I thought the security services handled it really well, at least from my arm chair perspective. I'm all for a have a go heros, but when it comes to a total nutjob who has no concern for his own life and you have no idea what weaponry or threat he poses, then best leaving it to the trained professionals.

I thought the Mayors quote of how the security and emergency services ran towards the threat whilst telling the innocent to run the opposite way was almost Churchillian  Stirring stuff

London slowly comes back to normal after the awful atrocities of yesterday and seemingly more common place terror attacks in Cities across the world.

But you do wonder about some of the 24 hour news feeds and media frenzy that seem to dispense with common sense and moral judgement.

I know Mr Police Spokesperson that you said you can't release any details due to the ongoing investigation, but what is the name of the attacker, what is his nationality?

Here we have some MPs coming out after the lock down was lifted, lets jump on them quickly and be amazed when they don't want to speak to us.

But my absolute favourite...

We are now going to go live and hear from an eye witness who was on the bridge - So did you see what happened?

But at least Twitter can be relied on to keep things out of context and out of perspective, particularly when there is a Trump involved

So another day and the human race continues in it's bizarre screwed up and dysfunctional trajectory...
