Totally agree. I think she's great!

Oh my days it's busy! 15th June 2017 10:14 PM

Congratulations!  Great to hear things are going so well. I have been quiet myself on here, I had my baby and had a break and I seem to have less time for forums and social media now, who knew

I think.....you have way too much time on your hands and too much money if you buy lunch every day from a supermarket. Hahaha.  However, I would be equally annoyed if I was you and this is exactly the kind of thing that I would be LIVID about! I hope they pull their finger out on Twitter.

As a Corbyn supporter I am pretty pleased as with the result. It's the beginning of the end for the Tories in my opinion. You may say it's a fantasy manifesto but in my opinion we are not in such dire straits that we need to screw over the poor and vulnerable.  Cuts in corporation tax are ridiculous and the NHS and education need help, the cuts are damaging anyone who can't afford to pay privately. But anyway....we are in no-man's land now.

Brexit with May negotiating alongside the homophobic, women-hating party the DUP, what could possibly go wrong..... It all smacks of desperation, May appears to be grasping at Irish straws.

This is the first election I have ever put up a poster saying who I am voting for and it has meant I have bonded with a few neighbours and fallen out with a delivery man. Hahaha. Whatever your opinion having a strong opposition can only be a good thing.

Euuuurrrgghhh Steve. The Tories are crucifying the Education system (speak to a teacher) and the NHS (speak to a nurse/doctor) as well as ripping benefits away from disabled people and increasing food bank use to terrifying levels. I have noticed so many more homeless people in Coventry over the past couple of years.

Check out the visual essay on the NHS here: https://juniordoctorblog.com/  It's really, really scary. The lack of funding in the NHS and Education is starting to have devastating effects.

I would never vote Tory, I think we should be voting whichever way we can to get them out. Labour are the best chance at reversing some of the funding cuts and I actually like Corbyn because he isn't a classic MP as he is not corrupt or out for himself and that's why he isn't popular among many peers! Plus I like his anti-Trident stance, and I know that won't be popular on here, but we are bit players in the world now, nuclear weapons are a waste of time. If someone presses a button we're all doomed anyway so why do we need a button....

Brexit in the hands of May is going to be a blood bath.

I just hope the country comes to their senses and votes to get the Tories out, EVERYONE needs to think about something other than their own interests and think about the whole country and most of all the vulnerable. That's what being in a society should be about.

Hmmmmmm. Well I suppose I had better contribute to this thread as my ears are burning

Obviously I love spelling and grammar to be perfect, or as close as you can get. However, you have to be realistic and in this day and age social media and instant messaging means the immediate nature of communication leads to typos or certainly less time to check wording before it is live! I find Twitter one of the most dangerous places as there is no edit function.

I think the bottom line is that typos are forgivable in conversations, forums and social media and on certain mediums I would even let bad grammar go if it is informal but if your Twitter feed, mailshots, blogs etc are constantly peppered with errors it would make me think twice about using your business.

I do think it is hard if you're a one man band trying to be the jack of all trades as you have to have an online presence these days, whatever sector you are in, and spelling may be fairly irrelevant to your business, but it can look really unprofessional and I am cursed/blessed with the ability to see all the obvious mistakes. I you can't get that right will you get my invoice right?

Back to the original post, immigrants should be trying to learn the language if they want to work here, that's just common sense, but I am not sure about trying to enforce it on everyone, it'll end up being a costly idea to placate daily fail readers!
