You really are a grumpy old fart!

Yup have been guilty of posting pics on my personal FB account while we are on our hols, but live in a nice quiet cul de sac with the nosiest neighbours in the world, plus pics are private to friends and family.

Interesting though about the bar code, never would have thought of that!

Yup - old grumpy & have an empty mug in front of me, surely its your round

Not everyone locks down their FB account though, although even i have managed to work it out

Back to the o/p - never knew that they contained so much info. Naively thought it would just be name, flight number and seat on said plane.

Does that answer the question?

Naming and Shaming on Forums 21st September 2016 9:33 AM

We have named companies on here to good effect, but usually only if they have spammed us or we are warning others of shamefully practices and conning businesses out of money or shambolic customer service.

Never understand why people advertise the fact they are away

I did check in on Facebook to a hotel last time i was in Edinburgh, but only did it as my fiancee was at home. Don't actually get the fascination with it, nor the fact the 3 people i have not seen in 20 years liked it

Wait until you get back to post all the wonderful boring pics of your holiday that we all cannot wait to see .....

Disgusting that they still rely on charitable donations.

Not sure if they already do, but if not the Lottery should send huge chucks of their pot to this fantastic cause rather than "the arts"

Survival of the Fittest..... 26th July 2016 11:04 AM

Blimey - that looks like its huge!

My cat used to regularly bring me field mice in, alive, half dead or even headless but never a rat !

I have seen a few people randomly walking about with their phones out, but to be honest doesn't that just about cover every teenager on the planet

Did see one young girl with her dad Saturday night, under a road bridge in Redditch with her phone out, so guessing they were Pokemoning.

My boys, now mid & late teens were Pokemon mad- thankfully they have long grown out of it so no Pokemon apps for me

I don't think they get paid for playing for England do they? "

Yep they unfortunately do.

They got £1500 per qualifying win, £1000 for drawing and still £500 for losing and naturally all of their expenses are covered.

Peanuts compared to their normal salaries but they should be there for pride not payment imho.

BTW, had they won the competition they would have EACH pocketed a bonus of £750,000 - not bad for kicking a ball around, tripping over a blade of grass and crying in pain, whilst trying to cheat the ref by claiming they hadn't kicked the ball out of play. Great pieces of acting though

Energy-saving tips 1st July 2016 10:38 AM

In my home Town, they use the heat generated from the crematorium to heat the swimming pool next door ! BBC News website

Not sure i agree with it but its one way to reduce your gas bill i guess !

Scarily they do seem to be legit - they just scrape your details off Google
