Come On England! 23rd June 2010 12:40 PM
Wish i could muster up some enthusiasm for this World Cup - dont really do football, the bits i have seen havent inspired me to watch much more either

Wish they wouldnt move main stream programmes though, rushed around last night to get tea done & sit and watch Holby, only to find a football match on in its place - as my mother used to say - bloody football!

On a moaning point, why is it when the football over runs everything gets pushed back or even cancelled We even have to listen the the after match disembowelment of the game too! When the F1 over runs, you dont get to see the presentation & forget the drivers interview at the end, you have to watch the hi-lights again for that

Oh well - come on England, lets hope you arent too home sick today & deliver a half decent performance
So let me understand you correctly - you would like to join Steve and his wife in a caravan for a weekend whilst they get drunk.

Hmm when its read like that you have a point lol - i meant an invite to have a drink - oh well was too busy decorating the new house anyway!
an interesting article about UK time change - BBC News - UK time change 'would save CO2 emissions'

Was going to put this under rants but there is a serious element to this. Does day light savings impact on your business. Would you be better off having a single time or are you in favour of day light savings?

Are the proposals put forward actually going to benefit anyone or is it just a "Green" issue?

My 2 pennies - having gone through 13 years of pain with kids taking a week or 2 to settle down after the clocks change im actualy in favour of leaving the hours be, stop messing around & agree on the best time zone & leave be.

I feel for Steve and anyone else with a young family having to go through the changes - its not fun! Least mine are old enough now to be told lie in bed until a set time (or else dad gets grumpy )
An invite !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmm, strangely quiet over the forum party invite!

If you could see the state of my house you'd understand the lack of invites

Virtually sozzled - how the hell ...........
Forgive me if im missing the point here - Yep BP is British owned, but wasnt the platform in question manned, run & managed by Americans? Well so ive read anyway

Thanks all

Congratulations!

(Race you?)

Err no plans at present but things change quickly in my life at the moment lol
Hmm debatable - have they broken any laws or is it just a clever publicity stunt?

BBC News - How ambush marketing ambushed sport

The article refers to other clever ploys in the past by some big brands

My 2 pennies - 36 attractive females in orange miniskirts can only be a good thing

(Clive now runs for cover from the fiancee)
