The ones I have seen on offer are typically blogs from 'eligible people' in a given academic institution. From time to time I have seen .edu blogs for sale etc. The thing is how daft or clever is Google? Surely Google can tell the diference between self generated blog links from a part of a website that is freely available from a link off a good page of the .edu domain. This is bad news for about 60 people who were in the same position and of course the poor souls who are caught up in this mess who are in the process of paying off their debts. On top of that it seems that a number of Mortgage Brokers and possibly even IFAs are facing the prospect of being sued as they made referrals to Debt Dr. I wonder if this could have been spotted in advance by proper Due Diligence?
