I have set up a profile (or at least started one). The daddy of all links 4th May 2011 11:42 AM I have my doubts about the true value of the .edu links that are available for sale. The ones I have seen on offer are typically blogs from 'eligible people' in a given academic institution. From time to time I have seen .edu blogs for sale etc. The thing is how daft or clever is Google? Surely Google can tell the diference between self generated blog links from a part of a website that is freely available from a link off a good page of the .edu domain. It is a very difficult area. Debt Doctor gone bust 29th April 2011 8:11 AM I noticed last night that a firm called Debt Dr has stopped trading. The reason it caught my eye is that I know 5 people who are/were with them as franchisees/associates. This is bad news for about 60 people who were in the same position and of course the poor souls who are caught up in this mess who are in the process of paying off their debts. On top of that it seems that a number of Mortgage Brokers and possibly even IFAs are facing the prospect of being sued as they made referrals to Debt Dr. I wonder if this could have been spotted in advance by proper Due Diligence? TV documentary helps convict Hackney firm 28th April 2011 6:49 AM “Interesting, but I wonder how far it goes, would say CCTV footage be usable as evidence?” Generally all photos/videos/CCTV images are useable as evidence - just requires someone to give evidence of its provenance -it is called as 'Real Evidence' in the legal vernacular. In fact CCTV is regularly used in court proceedings. What is Gray Hat SEO? 26th April 2011 11:13 AM Oh yes! (in the Churchill Car insurance/Derek Guyler "Please Sir" tone of course) |
