A proper look at all the rules and regs and how they apply disproportionately to small business and then get rid of as many as possible would help more. I think one of the hardest/most difficult issues is maternity/pregancy. I am not sure how this can be easily unravelled to allow small business to avoid all the bad ramifications but it is such a big problem. Smaller to bigger - experience + better company bigger to smaller - had experience of big - want to apply in a newer/up and coming/etc company with more chances to grow into etc etc It is about saying the right things well and not saying daft things.
