Hi Mike, I assume you mean the Google street view, where it shows pics of your street. I don't think there's much you can do about that, I'd guess google will update these every few years or so.

Ref getting your biz on google maps, make sure you have a Places Listing, if you haven't, go here: Google Places

Google won't always display every company though on the maps, heres what the Google god themselves say:

Good morning Steve,

At least I hope its you.....I still havent quite got the hang of this site yet..!!

i was very grateful for your input with regards to my google maps query so grateful in fact that somehow I managed to opt out of the thread!!! Can I get back in?

I have recently applied for a google places locator on the advice of a friend and am waiting for the pin niumber but i thank you for that. I am for obvious reasons keen to get the google place label changed so will give the report a problem a go! also I see this thread suggests you have some useful marketing tips if you think there is anything i might benefit from pray do tell!

Of course I hope its understood that iof you or anyone requires some impartial advice on nearly almost all property affairs just ask I'll shoot from the hip! ( Am not trying to saying I'm a cowboy by the way Lol!

Thanks again

Hiya Mike, no worries, have moved your post back over to your map thread.

You'll soon get the hang of it

Thanks once again Steve,

am not entirely sure what it was you said to me but I'm learning....Lol!

The 4x4 does that mean your found tearing up bits of the countryside on a preferably wet and muddy weekend in a Defender...or the proud owner of the new Rangie??

Been the proud owner of a couple of Landies, last one a V8 petrol. Used to do plenty of Bondu Bashing in various places around the world, but these days it's a Nissan Patrol baby bus and caravan tug, and confined to tarmac Q7 though next year, so posh baby bus

But that's enough of my warbling!

i had a landie up until a couple of years ago mine was one of the first TD5 diesel defenders, a tractor with four seats, had quite a bit of fun in that...am into classic bikes now or at least while I can still afford to own them!!

A good tip is to include a google map on your website of your local, usual adding this to the contact us page.

Also adding the meta Lat and Long attributes can help and your full address on the footer of your site.

Then get reviews, give stuff away to get reviews, these are key, once your on the map your phone will ring a lot
