Always up for some ground breaking PR and marketing, Virgin has decided to launch a Social Marathon.

Hmm, wonder what the actual outcome was of this? Their news page is unchanged from yesterday.

Guess it was more of a Virgin interbrand social networking training exercise!

Getting more and more people involved around their brand is exactly what theyre doing and using social networking to do it makes sure they get some exposure from many more people using minimal effort.
