If you could run the country how would you do it?

I thought this would be a little bit of fun I want to see what people would do if they could run the country

Thanks,

Headsocial! very interesting thing thread you have started.
But tell me do you really think it fun to run a country?

Fun? Are you nuts!

Have you seen how Prime Ministers and Presidents visibly age during their terms in office!

All that responsibility, everyone moaning, slagging you off...

hmmm, like running a forum lol

I like this question and if based on a theory then it would be fun to dream the ideal. Running the country I assume takes a lot more effort but as said before to answer the question in a lighter note I would

1. Reduce fuel tax so the normal price per ltr on Fuel ranged around

CENTURION for PM!!!! He's got my vote, though not sure about the Armed Forces bit, we're naturally a tribal race and need a good ruck once in a while to blow off steam

How about an employer NI contributions holiday for small businesses with 5 staff or less, to try and encourage micro-businesses and 1 man bands to expand.

Then there's benefits... are I'd wear my fingers out typing and it would end up as a rant...

Thank you for the vote

I have relooked at my policy and decided that we will still return our forces but will still allow 50% combat strength for overseas issues; so we can benefit from the services of the forces and also a good ruck (As you say it).

Also to add I would like to now propose a Non UK Tax system, it would allow NON UK members to work here (As they do currently) but they would be charged TAX at a higher rate to pay for the expense of up keep to others whom avoid paying tax or use our country as a easy life (Yes I mean those newly formed EU country members that like trucks and dover port etc ). The proposed tax would also pay for increase of teams to located non paying members and exit them from the country (chargeable to said country they come from). I would trial it for a year and see if it was working and if not my stage two plan would come into effect. (I tell you more later).

Oh just a quick note, I would declare spoils of war, any money or assest held from leaders whom wish to PUSH THEIR LUCK such as example MR Gaffy (you know whom I speak of) would be taken by the UK to do with as we wish. Yes I m happy to look after your MONEY MR Gaffy - 1 Billion pound is that, that will do nicely.
