Some forums use BB code for signatures so you will need a slightly different version to the one used here.

Try:

["url=http://www.mylocalforums.com]Business Forum[/url"] changing the info to suit your site

Remove the " on both brackets above to get it to look like Business Forum

Another update - so no other links for the url except for the posts here on the forum yahoo has also indexed the site give the site 1st page listings on 2 key phrases.

Are you sure the page you referenced in your link has been indexed by google?

I did a site check and could not see it, google is showing a total of 54 pages indexed for your site.

Linda if you have an inner page you want to promote that has a lot of competition you need to promote is like your homepage and give it a link building program of its own.

An allintitle search shows lots of competition for the term career planning (147k results) however career planning advice gives (2820 results) and career planning help shows (731 results)

I would suggest a slight change in title tags and description to target the easier searches.

Linda - can you post a link to the page so we can see it?

I think that his how most feel about blogs they get started and never really developed (by most people) I use them purely for seo purposes.

I also think a blog that is not updated for a business is worse because you think does the business still run etc.
