The only incentive I use is, is that everyone can go home early once the work has been done... And I might buy everyone lunch...
PostsUsing incentives to make the team work 14th November 2014 9:31 AM Have you planned your Christmas marketing campaign? 14th November 2014 12:09 AM Not sure what I think, as a donation to RBL and probably a substantial one it can't be a bad thing. Christmas nowadays is more about greed and over indulging than anything else, visit any supermarket during the week leading up to Christmas and you will genuinely see the human race at it's worst, sadly around a quarter of the food bought will end up in a landfill site somewhere or turned into pigs swill...Not something I've ever really understood with half the world starving, so I for one really don't get what the so called Christmas message is about, certainly not what we are led to believe its about.... PayDay loan rates capped - the end of Wonga? 12th November 2014 11:45 AM At the end of the day if a solicitor gives you a letter of introduction and which says "our charges for licking stamps onto envelopes is £60.00" you are not being ripped off if you sign up and agree. You don't have the law society saying solicitors and the legal profession can only charge reasonable fees. They can charge what they like.... Bit like plumbers PayDay loan rates capped - the end of Wonga? 11th November 2014 4:31 PM I don't see what the problem is if people are made fully aware upfront of costs. People need to take responsibility for their own actions / lifestyles. No one forces Off-Licences not to sell alcohol to alcoholics, no one forces bookmakers not serve gamblers who have gambling problems. I'm not sticking up for Wonga and the like, but they are not much different than the others and all prey of the weak and vulnerable........ Chew your way to make electricity? 8th November 2014 9:05 AM Might get one one for the other half, she doesn't chew gum, but she does non stop rabbit unless she's asleep. With a bit of luck any excess power she generates I can flog off to the neighbours..... About time she she started to pay her way.. Labour backbenchers told to wind their necks in 7th November 2014 11:56 AM At this rate we'll end up with a coalition of UKIP and the Greens
I'll settle for just UKIP or a mix of them and conservatives, how anyone could vote labour again beggars belief. The guy who left the note saying there was nothing left in the pot at the last election summed up labours attitude to the people they serve / represent. Disgusting behaviour if you ask me... Bad review couple win compensation 7th November 2014 12:19 AM Yep good luck, I love a good court case, although even if you win the time, money and effort you put in getting it to court you still come away feeling left short. I always do it out of principle though. Must admit I'm dieing to know who it is.... German Chancellor warns Cameron is close to point of no return for the EU 6th November 2014 10:58 PM
“A successful prosperous Europen Union that thrives on freedom and democracy.”
The problem is though there are many countries in the EU that are not prosperous and live off the back of the countries that are. As for democracy it can only be that if we have voted for it, up to this point in time, no one in the UK has. What we have at the moment has been forced upon us. The only thing the UK has ever voted on was whether or not we join a common market. I'm pretty sure if the voters of 40 odd years ago knew where this country was heading 40 years down the road, I think the result may have been different. Hard winter? 6th November 2014 10:43 PM I'd like a really cold winter and hopefully one that will go into May 2015, with plenty of snow and ice......... Work Experience.... 6th November 2014 9:49 AM
“Has he agreed to the apprenticeship?”
Yes, and by offering him one he'll also get a college placement easier. Just a couple of rules he has to follow, no texting or playing with phone all day, no girlfriend / boyfriend problems to be brought into work, no talk of football or fishing and turn up on time. Other than that we'll get on fine
