Thats it then! 9th November 2016 9:58 AM

You've beaten me to it!

What I didn't realise was unlike our PM, he won't actually take over until 20 Jan 2017. So does that mean he's got 10 weeks to watch the House of Cards or the West Wing to find out how all this politics stuff works?

Or will he hot desk with Obama? Maybe he'll go on a brickie course so he can start building his Mexican wall. As a businessman, I wonder if the Whitehouse will be rebranded?

Maybe Trump HQ? Trumpton Town Hall?

With Boris as the UK Foreign Secretary, and President Trump saying the first thing that comes into his head, I think they are going to make Prince Phillip look like a diplomatic genius.

It's going to be an interesting 4 years, hopefully we will all still be around to appreciate it

Looking good for Trump.....”

oh my word, shes conceded.... Trumpton is the most powerful person in the world. Time to start digging and stocking up on on tins...  wonder if I can remember how to use an SLR?

So drum roll, counting has started, will it be Trumpton or mad Hillary....

ohhhh the excitement, it's like Scottish Independence, Brexit and a new Pasty shop opening all rolled into one

Which one of the old fogies will get to stay in the most exclusive old folks home in the world?

Just your usual phishing style email, but this one is different as it includes a PDF attachment which my antivirus says is clean. When you open it, you get a blurry image and are then prompted to click on a very dubious link which is Chinese in origin.

If you get one, obviously don't select it and just delete the mail.

M&S morphing into a supermarket? 8th November 2016 8:43 AM

Interesting news this morning about ailing high street brand M&S. After been slated recently for fuddy duddy fashions, and losing money overseas, the new plan is to concentrate on grub. With 60 clothing stores going, and a whole host of new simply food ones springing up, it does seem like M&S want to take on the big 4 supermarkets.

But with discounters like Aldi and Liddell, it seems a risky plan in an already busy food market, to go against the trend of price cuts, as M&S is seen as a luxury food brand. I wonder if Waitrose and M&S will be battling for the same customers while the discounters grow in market share?

With the likes of C&A and now BHS consigned to history, if M&S moves away from clothing the High Street will certainly start looking a bit bare when it comes to clothes for those over a certain age

3D Printing for broken bones! 3rd November 2016 4:05 PM

How cool is this

I know 3D printing has been around for a while now, but this is the first practical application I've seen, and certainly consigns the good old plaster-cast to the bin.

The pics were done as some marketing for the business centre we work out of. Originally I was in the photo as well, but the photographer said I was too fat and scruffy for a promotional picture So no model career for me...

Irony is there is no one in the world that despises Social Media more than Clive, so seeing him on the front of a SM training leaflet is actually priceless

Farcical Fifa? Come on it's a Poppy! 2nd November 2016 5:38 PM

Fifa, the well known hotbed of corruption and scandal are trying to go for the moral high ground with the ban on players wearing poppies for the England Scotland game, which takes place on Remembrance Day (Armistice Day) 11 November.

Fair play to the PM, in a typically English response

"Before they start telling us what to do, they jolly well ought to sort their own house out,"

Storm in a teacup, but sometimes you'd think common sense would kick in, rather than quoting the rules about political, religious or commercial messages on shirts.

Or do you think Fifa are right?

By using images on your training brochure that you don't have permission to use!

A local company is running a training workshop in our business centre, and imagine my surprise when our man Clive appeared on the front cover of their brochure

Obviously copyright law isn't one of the modules

Collected first Christmas present yesterday from Argos in local Sainsbury's.”

Did someone mention the Christmas word?
