I know what you mean as being badgered for reviews is irritating, bad reviews are definitely not good news though!! I find my student clients are the ones who forget to do reviews, but maybe that's unfair of me to generalise. 

It can be like getting blood out of a stone getting reviews sometimes but this does remind me I need to chase a couple up from recent new clients! 

I've saved this! This is one thing that does my head in with my logo as it's landscape, so this will really help when I am resizing it. Thanks Steve!

Natalie has given you some awesome ideas there! I would also look at your competitors and see if you can find a USP they don't have, so you stand out. Ultimately if your service is a cut about the rest that will filter through eventually anyway with recommendations but it's good to get a head start. Perhaps cards or flyers you give to customers so that they can give them to friends would be good, get them to do some marketing for you.

Being on all the free listings sites online like this one is always worthwhile and Twitter and Facebook plus other free social media platforms can all help get your name out there.

I can't help but agree, what with the Brexit debacle and Trump....democracy isn't really working so well is it? There's a severe lack of common sense and truth about and too much power in a few people's hands. There's a strong whiff of protest in the air and I think it'll be anarchy before Christmas, in 2050.
