This proves that you have the ability to get to a website to P1 Google and that is your selling point.
Maybe you did not consider that so long as you know how exactly you did it (get to P1 Google) then you are selling the idea that you can create websites and get them to P1 Google..
...so why not keep the example website for plumbers as an example for people to refer to when you are selling them (other plumbers) their own personal site..

Why does it seem ok to take on an Aussie, yet if I took on an eastern european say like from Romania there would have been different views?

"They" always have an opinion on just about everything, mostly ineffective nonsense that is counterproductive to a sole trader or smaller company.
Many of you by now may have seen his Stanford address in 2005 (or read the transcript) where it details how it all came about!

I had not seen it mrb. thanks for posting the link - After reading that I think his life would be quite a breathtaking experience for us mere mortals, quite admiral to have such out of this world success from what seemed to be an adverse beggining. (you can bet that it will be a record breaking year for students enrolling to college in the US)
I guess the problem is keeping the shows identity and it not turning into Dragons Den, or X factor.. (I don't watch Dragons or Xfactor) but it still be entertaining as a TV show.
