When I update my site on VistaPrint, I press Publish essentially to let internet world know I've done something and to save it.
It then gives me the option to share my update on Facebook, if I say yes the link up top is attached.
PostsCRYING! ANYONE GOOD AT REMOVING LINKS?! 5th June 2014 12:09 PM When I update my site on VistaPrint, I press Publish essentially to let internet world know I've done something and to save it. It then gives me the option to share my update on Facebook, if I say yes the link up top is attached. CRYING! ANYONE GOOD AT REMOVING LINKS?! 5th June 2014 12:05 PM Hi Steve, You've read a few of my posts so you'll know that I'm new to this, there is no way I added it as I don't know how. Spoke to them today and they say they've taken me off the directory but the link will remain until Google take it off in 3 months or something?! CRYING! ANYONE GOOD AT REMOVING LINKS?! 4th June 2014 10:22 PM No idea When i pressed Submit, to finalise my supposed free listing, i was taken to another page which said my listing would be submitted for free if i added one of several of their following links. I had to copy the link onto my page and then e-mail them directly telling them i had done it. I 100% did not do this, if for no other reason than i have no idea whatsoever what 'copy into your page header' even means...when i read i had to link i just closed the page down. I didn't get my call back today. Fuming, i can't have that added to the end of my Facebook updates.
CRYING! ANYONE GOOD AT REMOVING LINKS?! 4th June 2014 5:40 PM I called them today at 14:00 and am waiting for them to get back to me... I called Vistaprint, they asked for a screenshot, I sent it, they said they'd call me back... CRYING! ANYONE GOOD AT REMOVING LINKS?! 4th June 2014 5:38 PM In Penelope Pit stop style...Heyelp! I registered with a business listing last night, it asked for me to include a link, I then cancelled the entry as I don't do that and don't know how to do that. I try to post an update of my website and they've added a link anyway!!! CRYING! ANYONE GOOD AT REMOVING LINKS?! 4th June 2014 5:36 PM Business Directories, who do you use and why? 3rd June 2014 3:52 PM Wowzer that looks impressive The thing is because i'm not altogether niche, i was having to bid £1.00-£1.25 to get phrases on the first page, words like 'gaming tshirts' and 'superhero tshirts' etc What i also didn't realise is that if someone searched 'gaming tshirts' then my ad would only appear every now and again depending on my daily budget, it doesn't appear everytime someone enters that search term. I'm sure most people already know this but it was news to me, they also couldn't tell me how many times a day my ad would show, or when. I'll probably need to go into it again at some point but to be honest the guy spoke to me as if everyone who phones them has swallowed the same tech speak dictionary that they use Business Directories, who do you use and why? 3rd June 2014 3:06 PM Hi Steve, Thanks for the suggestion. I'd looked at it but got a bit confused, it isn't free and it seems to be linked to an adwords account. And after spending 5 HOURS yesterday setting up adwords to trial it then being told over the phone that my £75.00 voucher had somehow expired...and i need to set up a whole new account... and my 50ppc and £5.00 daily budget would be 'almost a waste of time'...i close enough told them to stick it and paused my campaign after about 5 minutes Business Directories, who do you use and why? 3rd June 2014 2:00 PM Hi Guys, I've spent the last couple of months listing my site on free business listings, some of which have been listed here. I was wondering if there are any 'traditional' retailers out there who know of any good free retail directories? By traditional i mean shopping related, a lot of the directories i am listed on seem to be more 'services related' you know, lawyers, builders, plumbers etc I'm struggling to find free fashion/clothing/t.shirt/gift etc directories... How many hours a week do you work? 29th May 2014 4:46 PM Running my Unit in the Shopping Centre i would have not a single day off unless it was Half Term and 'er indoors did a couple of days. So my working hours were 50-60 consecutive days then a couple off then 50-60 consecutive days. Now i'm out of the Centre and online, i am staring at the laptop between 08:00-22:30 7 days a week minus breaks for food, drink and the other!
