I just hope it all works out now. lol. thank you Hydraulic - (epic) failure - help is needed please. 26th October 2011 11:30 PM I need a little advice. I am working on a new art piece and it calls for a hydraulic system. BUT, seeing that I have no mechanical background, or engineering background to speak of, I am stuck. I have looked through all manner of catalog and still cannot find what I need. It's for a mechanical animal ( I can't say more because its a concept I'm working on and for now its all hush hush Does anyone know where I might be able to start looking? I would really appreciate any help. Anyone been tempted to do Spam SEO? 26th October 2011 11:21 PM Agreed. All these different schemes in the end only bring you tears. There is no such thing as a quick fix, no easy way to earn money online and while I'm at it, Santa Claus doesn't exist either This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Every new IM believes they can make a load of money from day one and it's simply not like that. I read through the Google TOS, I make sure that wherever the company I work for is linked to me, I am not up to anything shady. (besides that, its against my principles lol). A company's business and reputation is so closely interlinked that one wrong move can devastate it to the point of collapse. I guess all I can really say is how much do you think of your business, and are you willing to throw it all away for 5 minutes at the top ranking? Googles secret handbook leaked to the outside world! 25th October 2011 10:00 AM That just really sux I think. We could have gotten a lot of really good information about how we could make the perfect site. But I can see why they would also have it removed though. Spammers could do a lot of real damage had they gotten their mitts on it. Google Panda Bears 25th October 2011 8:57 AM “addy, I'm guessing irony doesn't translate very well At least we are at the top (number 2 ) for Google Panda Bears, in case that ever became a relevant search phrase HAHAHAHAAHHAHA I believe its now gone down to page 1 number 7 Article Marketing - interesting experiment 25th October 2011 8:48 AM More than likely I reckon. I used to work a lot with article marketing, but have since then moved on to blogs. I'm not saying that article marketing is dead, it still has a good many uses. It can be used for a link back, and even though it may not be as powerful as it once was, it still helps. Another reason why it might still be a good idea, is it can help with your company and site credibility. Authority seems to be the new best thing to PR, and I believe that you can tell a lot about a company simply by reading what they have to say. Uh Oh - Facebook about to receive a major overhaul 25th October 2011 8:31 AM hmmm. Forgive me, but I wonder if this is to deflect attention from Facebook being sued by a former user? Apparently they hadn't deleted any of his private details and could even give him transcripts of his messages etc. All in all though, it seems as if the redesign is for the better anyhow. People have always said that a change is as good as a holiday Googles secret handbook leaked to the outside world! 25th October 2011 8:27 AM I found a related article from that one that I have bookmarked. It might not be the real guidebook, but its packed with a lot of information regardless. I wonder how many got the guide before Google caught on? Why would you lie? 25th October 2011 7:51 AM I think you can, to a certain extent. Some just choose not to listen to that little voice that says "this will all end in tears if you do". lol |
